Don't Meth With Us -(Paul McQueary, Chair) our purpose is to educate the approximatly 2200 5th grade students in San Juan County and part of the Navajo Nation Reservation about the dangers and consequences of experimenting with methamphetamine, better known as Meth. This program was created in the fall of 2006 by a group of San Juan Rotarians. Since that time, the program has expanded and many clubs across the United States and Canada have implemented similar programs in their communities.

School Clothes For Kids-( Bob Brooks, Chair) began in the fall of 2006 with only enough funding to assist 44 children with school clothes, coats, and shoes. In 2010, this program was able to help 370 children spending $100 each for school clothing. This program involves approximately 85 to 90 community volunteers and Rotarians for 2 evenings of shopping at Target.

Connie Mack World Series Baseball-(Rick Quevedo, Chair)- Each year San Juan Rotary sponsors one of the seven Connie Mack Baseball teams from the different league divisions in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. These young men (16-18 years) travel to Farmington where local host families adopt them for the week. Our job is to make these boys feel at home! Each year our club decorates a float to promote our sponsored team for the annual Connie Mack parade. We provide a barbeque for the palyers and the host families thanking them for their dedication to this annual event.

Healing Fields-(Robert David, Chair)- Our newest project is targeted for demonstration during the 2012 Centennial in Farmington.  This is a spectacular event that focuses each year on a particular cause.  More information will be added as progress is made on the development of our 2012 event.
