MEMBERSHIP: Kent Wilson, Chair
The main focus will be on membership initiatives that center on recruitment and

retention of quality members with a net growth of a minimum of one new

    member.
To identify reasons for club attrition and determine tactics to improve retention.
To determine if further efficiencies can be made in the membership

    application/approval process.
To promote attendance at the District Conference.
To present one program emphasizing growth and diversity of quality

    membership.
To provide an opportunity for newer club members to meet with club leaders.

COMMUNITY  SERVICE:  Bob Brooks, Chair

Community Service  serves as the lead in the implementation of club approved projects

such as Clothes for Kids, Don't Meth With Us Program, roadside cleanup and Habitat for

Humanity. All community service programs and chairs will report to the Community

Service  Chair unless otherwise directed by the board.  He will work with the International

and Foundation Chairs to establish local grant programs that might be eligible for the same,

and recommend to the board of directors the programs of other clubs that are believed to

deserve grant funding from the San Juan Rotary Club.

PROGRAMS COMMITTEE - Jim Baker and Jill McQueary, Chairs
Prepares and arranges programs for regular and special club meetings.  Objectives

are: to have interesting club programs, to see that a proper balance on all aspects

of Rotary is maintained in the program schedule; and to make certain that the

programs are at all times in keeping with the dignity of Rotary.
Emphasize programs which will inform, educate, and entertain the members and

     their guests.
Club members have diverse interests.  The ideal is for programs to be so

attractive and appealing to the diverse membership of the club that they promote

attendance, as well as inform.  Strive for timeliness, variety, and balance in

     subject matter.
Solicit ideas from the entire membership.

FOUNDATION: Carrie Dodds, Chair
The Rotary Foundation Committee promotes the work of the Rotary Foundation

and develops programs to encourage members to become annual givers to the

Rotary Foundation (EREY and Sustaining Members).
Educates all members not only through a special program but also regularly

    throughout the year during meetings.
Develops a campaign to get members to give quarterly ($25.00) along with their

dues to reach the annual goal of $100 for Every Rotarian Every Year (EREY).
The committee will also be responsible for selling the annual District cruise

tickets. Each book of 10 tickets sells for $100 and members already contributing

to EREY have their tickets paid for and only need to fill out the ticket stubs and

    return them to the chairman.
